What’s Your Battle Strategy?

I think it is so amazing how the Holy Spirit is constantly speaking to our hearts. It is something that is easy to overlook and not even know its happening. God gives us clues, He sends signs and help to our rescue. The question here is are you intuned?

Do you believe in coincidences? I use to. I use to talk about something or seek it out with my actions or words and a few days later something would happen that would have to do with what I hoped for. Some people will call this “the secret”, but the truth is, that “secret” is the Holy Spirit.

I don’t want to dive too deep into this because it can get pretty intricate. I will say, that if we would listen closely, we will learn to hear the wisdom of the Lord and the leading of the Holy Spirit in our everyday lives, not just when it comes to “holy” things.

He Equips Us

He is aware of our struggles and He loves us dearly. He wants the best life for us and He has so many beautiful things planned for our walk with Him while on this Earth. He also knows that the world will still be what it is even though we love and follow Him, but He does not leave us to fight the world alone.

“The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. God is faithful. He will not allow temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, He will show you a way out so that you can endure. ”  -1 Corinthians 10:13

He orchestrates sermons, songs, conversations, devotionals to fall in line with just what we’ll need for each specific season.

Last Sunday our sermon was on the Holy Spirit, my feeds (IG) have been speaking spiritual battles and Gods help, Wednesday’s sermon was on allowing God to lead you through your struggle in His peace, I came across a sermon on battles and having the right strategy for the battle at hand.

Coincidence? I think not.

We look at these moments and think, in the natural, “that’s great, fill yourself with the Word”. But today I found myself facing something dark, heavy and empty. My natural reaction is to feel the feelings till they get so overwhelming that I cry out to God and by that time I desperately need a miracle.

This time was different. When I allowed myself to mentally breathe from my thoughts for a moment, I gave the Holy Spirit the opportunity to recap this weeks message into my heart. It’s something that I could have definitely missed and something I have missed plenty of times before when He tried to help me out of my struggles.

The thing is that with spiritual growth there has to be visible change, maybe not to others, yet, but you have to notice yourself breaking out of old habits, you must see spiritual chains breaking, and strongholds begin to release their death grip on your life.

Spiritual growth requires an awareness and intentionality at all times and in all things.

So what’s this battles’ strategy?
The theme for this week of course…
======>>  REMEMBER HIS GOODNESS

He has been faithful to pull me out of situations before and He’ll do it again.
He has poured His love into my darkness plenty of times I trust He will do it again.
He has showered my hurt with joy in moments of despair and I know He will do it again.

“If you will just shift your focus, God is already taking care of the rest.”

*As I edit this post “Do it again” by Elevation Worship. Coincidence? Nahh.. My God doesn’t make mistakes.
